Chennai Rains

Chennai has received its heaviest rainfall since 2015 as the rains have continued to plummet the parts of city and its suburban areas overnight. Daily routines of people were disrupted as streets and homes were flooded and waterlogged. On the other hand, authorities have issued a preliminary flood warning to the public on Sunday.

On November 10 and 11, the Indian meteorological department issued a red alert for coastal regions of Tamil Nadu.

As Tamil Nadu is being plummeted by heavy rains again, people are stranded among waterlogged roads and flooded houses with no electricity and no mean of communication.
